  • How many invites do I need to order?
    First decide on your number of guests, send one per family, and to this number add a small quantity to cater for any mistakes and extra guests you may decide to invite at a later stage.
  • When should I order my invitations?
    It is advisable to order these at least six months in advance of the wedding. Save the Date cards can be sent any time in advance, at least a year or beyond in some cases depending on your venue or location.
  • When should I send my invitations out to my guests?
    Normally you should allow at least 6-8 weeks before your venue require your final numbers to allow time for your guest to reply, but longer notice can be given this is really your personal choice.
  • Is there a minimum order quantity?
    Yes on some items there is a minimum order of 20 items. This is show in the description. If however you require less than 20 items please contact us for a personalised quote.
  • How do I order?
    You can use the online store to browse and order wedding stationery. Alternatively, you can email us for a downloadable order form.
  • Will I receive a proof?
    Yes. Once your order has been placed a free proof will be sent to you for your approval. Please check all details thoroughly, particularly spellings of names and dates, then either confirm via email or sign and return by post to the address indicated on the proof as quickly as possible to avoid any delay to the printing time. For full details, please refer to your proof. Your order will be printed and despatched upon receipt of your signed proof. Your proof will be sent to the billing address provided by yourself.
  • How long will my order take?
    As a guide is 21 working days is the usual lead time, but it depends upon the volume of the order and any customisations requested. However it’s important to remember that no printing will take place until receipt of a signed proof from you.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    Our store is fully integrated with PayPal’s secure online checkout facilities. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this facility, simply enter your credit/debit card details upon request.
  • Do you offer sample products?
    Yes. Sample products are available upon request for a small fee. You will receive a discount voucher to be placed against any order you place.
  • What size are the cards?
    All card sizes are indicated in the product description.
  • Do I get the option to choose colour schemes and wording?
    Yes. We have a range of preset colours available for the products in our store. Alternatively, we can alter the colour to match the colour scheme for your wedding. Also, if you are unsure of wedding invitation etiquette we can advise you of the right wording for your stationery and the appropriate timings for sending out various items.
  • Can I select a different font?
    Yes. Please email for a range of fonts on offer, or alternatively email details of the font you wish to use.
  • Do you offer bespoke designs?
    Yes, we offer fully customised wedding stationery. If you have something specific or different in mind that doesn’t feature in our store, then we are happy to offer a bespoke service to suit your needs, please email or call to discuss your requirements in person.
  • How many pages do I have in my Order of Service?
    This will depend on the design you have chosen. Some design allow for 3 sides, while other designs allow for a 4 side insert. These are clearly stated in the product description. If you require additional sheets, these will be charged at additional rate, please email for more information.
  • Do you make stationery items for other occasions such as Birthdays, Christenings, etc?"
    Yes, Sarah Alexis Stationery make stationery for other special occasions such as Birthdays and Christenings. Please contact us for more information.
  • What happens if I want to cancel my order?
    All orders are personalised to your requirements. For this reason, refunds and exchanges will only be made if the stationery is found to be damaged, or does not meet your order specifications. This does not affect your statutory rights. Under exceptional circumstances we may agree to cancel an order. However you will incur a cancellation fee.
